7th Ed. Skink Handlers

I was thinking. On their stat line, skink handlers (razordon/salamander) have a ballistic skill. They are carrying what look to be javelin. Can they use that ballistic skill for javelins?

Just wondering.

No, the handlers are only equipped with a hand weapon (see the army list for weapons and equipment). Nice try though

Warhammer is not as much WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) as 40k is, so no matter what rather than looking at what the model might be holding you need to only consider what the rules say not what is logical. In the army list entry, they have equipment: hand weapons only, so that is what they get.
