I have a shortage of skinks... not an extreme shortage.. I need 4 models.. I already took the extra 2 from my stegadon sprue... but I still need 4 more.. Does anyone know an easy way to get 4 skinks without buying a whole box? Would a GW location have a small quantity perhaps? Or am I basically looking at either buying a box or ebaying it?
You might be able to special order a sprue (so 6 skinks there). If you do this through your local store you should be able to do it with reduced or no shipping since it just comes in with the regular shipment. Not sure how feasible that is, seeing as I've never tried it. Alternatively, there's the trading forum here on this site OR you could find someone you play with that's willing to trade or sell (and has them to begin with). If all else fails, there's always Ebay.
If you live near a hobby center, it may also be worth it to ask for a chance to dig through their bitz box. I've seen some strange things turn up in them from time to time, Skinks included.
