8th Ed. Skinks shooting at Warmachines

    If Skinks wound a warmachine with shooting attacks, does the opponent get an armor save if the crew has light armor (I believe Dwarf crew have light armor)? I assumed he does not, am I wrong?

    They do. You also wound on the warmachines toughness (7). It'll take 10 cameleons to reliably kill a warmachine, not counting light armour.

    In most cases you are better off charging a war machine crew. Even if you don't kill them right away you tie up the war machine and prevent it from firing.

    Personally, while I have below average luck with miscasts I tend to roll better than average with Skink shooting (I guess I roll lots of sixes both when it is and isn't good) so I often shoot war machines.
