When 8th edition came out, I thought it would be necessary for me to create movement trays for my skirmishing units. I made them for my chameleon skinks, salamanders, and my terradons. I had big unit of 5 and a unit of 4 in my 3K Rampage list.

For whatever reason, the forum is not letting any of my images to show up, so you can see the pictures, and a WIP image on the blog at:

That's what was strange... I was posting the images here the same way I had always done on lustria. It worked fine the other day, but today I think the site might have gotten caught up in an 'error' cycle. I didn't wamt to have to log off and back on again, so I just kept the link to the blog. :)

There are so many places where I am supposed to be posting images, I have determined that it is a lot easier to put them in one spot, and the put links on all the other sites if it is something they have an interest in.

    Cheers! :meh:

Awesome movement tray. Great paint job on the models as well. I really need to start investing some time into movement trays. Skinks and Terradons are hard to move around without one.

It's pretty easy to post pics on this forum. Have to make sure you copy the image URL is rather than the link address. Then it's just a matter of clicking the pic button. But hey, whatever works. We still got to see your stuff!

EDIT: I'm lovin' the horned terradons, btw.

Oh man, always loved your stuff. The free-hand stuff and the detailing on your bases are especially inspiring. Looking forward to future blog posts.

What are those terradon models? Different brand?

Is a movement tray really that helpful for terradons, though? There's so few models, and I usually vary my formation too much to make use of one.

The movement trays really help at tournaments, since they are not only decorative, they can help to reduce measuring issues. I carry my army around in boxes, with all the movement trays blue tacked onto the bottom. All of the minis are in place, and all I have to do is lift them up out of the box and place them on the table. It takes a lot less time to get set up, and much less to "repack". :)

It is easy to post here, but I simply don't have the time to post full articles to the 6 or 7 places I would need to each time. I wish that I did, though!

The terradons are old Void Viridian (a lot like Catachans) mounts. Putting a skink on the back of them was not too rough. I am not sure if my scratch sculpted terradons are posted here or not. That is another future article to come!
