7th Ed. Slann and 'Look Out Sir'

Does a Slann that is nestled away in his block of TG get a 'Look Out Sir Roll' for things like template hits?

 

Yes, just like any other character in a unit L,OS! is used when a character in a unit is hit by a template (not just in TGs, he gets L,OS! in any unit he is in).

 

Even though he is a different base size? Don't you have to be like-sized models?

 

The only requirements for a Look Out, Sir roll are:

1. The character must be in a unit with five or more regular rank and file troopers and,

2. The character must by US 4 or less.

So the Slann benefits from the Look Out, Sir! roll.
