    if you upgrade your slann to your battle standard bearer is he slain if he flees? it says on page 107 in the rulebook the bsb is slain if he flees. does this rule apply to a slann mage? thx

    yes it does, whyshoudnt it?
    yes its a really bad thing, but hey coldlooded ld9 aint runing quite often :)

    Take the banner of discipline. The +1 applies to the slann's LD and the TG get to use the highest LD in the unit. With the stubborn from the TG (even one-this happened to me last week), you will almost always make that roll on the first try (for sure on the re-roll).

    In the last 6 months, I think I had a slann flee one time (after all the TG were killed). Most of my slann's wounds or death have been caused by miscasts where cupped hands failed (I have rolled a 1 on that roll on 3 of the last 5 games).
