    Greetings
I couldnt find this answered already, so apologize if it was and I missed it. I just noticed under the guardians rule of the slann, 6th line of that paragraph states "when joined to a unit of temple guard, a Slannis always placed within the second rank." so my question is, if he joins a regular saurus unit, does he have to be in the front rank then?
thanks in advance for any help

Yes, he has to go in the front rank....If there is room. You can avoid this by running the unit 5 wide and putting a scar-vet or two in the unit. That will effectively push him to the second rank. If you give either the slann or one of the scar-vets the crown of command, you have a stubborn unit that is essentially the same as TG.

You really should try that build, it works really well. I almost prefer it to a normal TG bunker.
