Recently my army building has gotten more ambitious (relative to my previous attempts anyway). This has invariably involved greater levels of kitbashing, glue spilling, and more greenstuff under my nails than is socially acceptable.
In part inspired by forumites such as Rikard, Xanlax_lot, NexS1, and numerous other modellers I thought I'd get a bit of feedback and do that learning thing people talk about.
My current project is my new Oldblood, set to be my big general in leave of my Slann. It was at the time my most complex piece of modelling (which isn't saying much), and is still incomplete.
I used the body of a Reaper miniature (http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/Reptus/latest/14235) and the head of GW's Kroq-Gar. The trickiest bit for me was the neck: I had to shave the plastic neck of Kroq so he didn't look too bulky, support and merge it with greenstuff, and make the greenstuff look all scaly-like.
