hello people, today i was playing a game against about 600 ponts of dwarfs, i only had 300 points of lizzies beacause i had a goblins allie tis is what roughly the lists where scarvet swod of batle maiming shield 14 saurus, spears, FC 20night goblins, spears lv1 night goblin shamin 10 spider riders troll VS 15 longbeards FC 10 thunderers FC Cannon master engineer The first turn every one ran fowards, exept the cannon who got a lucky bounce and kille 2 spiders the shaman was out of range for fire ball next turn i poss itioned my saurus to take the long beards charge wich they made with millimeters to spare the long beards got 4 kills, (but only because the other guy rerolled the to wound, cheater) i reterned fire getting only 1 kill with the saurus and none with the scar vet (he insisted that S5 vs heavy armour, shield and hand weapon gave him a 4+ i coulddnt be bothered to argue then he rolled 2 4s for the armour saves) wich meant that i lost combat by 4 and was forced to flee 7 inches he said that he diddnt have to test to pursue so he held back and thought that saurus sucked (he had oviousley never played lizzies befor)Also that turn the troll was stupid, the thunderers killed 2 spiders, the cannon missed and the wizzard killed 3 thunderers with a fireball Next turn my saurus rallied and he charged me again although they where about a cm off i pretended not to notice so that my saurus could regain there honour and thats exactly what they did, taking only 1 casualty and killing 5 of the dwarfs the dwarfs fled 1 inch more than me, also that turn the troll was stupid again, he missfired on the cannon and thought that rune of reloading meant that he could still fire in the turn that he misfired then he diddnt roll on the missfire chart (cheater) also the thunderers killed 3 more spider riders who fled and the shamin killed another thunderer eventhough it was 3 PD against 4DD (bad use of dispell) Next turn i charged the fleeing long beards in the rear killing them all (because they where fleeing wich my enemy also denied could happen but i diddnt let him get away with it that time. Also that turn the troll was stupid again and he killed off the rest of the spiders with thunderers and killed 4 goblins with the cannon who in turn reduced the thunderers to 2 in the final turn the troll passed the stupidity test and charged the last thunderers killing them both, also the cannon grape shotted the goblins, who took 5 casualties from the strenth 8 attack befor fleeing , my saurus just ran toward the cannon but it was already the end of the game Victorie for me yay for him all that was left was the cannon and the engineer (who did nothing because nothing that they shot at had more than 1 wound) i had 9 saurus and a scarvet left and my allie had a trolll who was in a perfect possition to rear charge the cannon if the game had gone on for another turn in conclusion, ive decided that crime dosent pay, thanks for reading Geko
Indeed. Crime does not pay. I have a friend who frequently forgets rules for his Armies if they put him at a disadvantage. Oddly, he knows more about my own Army than I do. Go figure.
it depends on the situation, the poor skaven have so many special rules i've seen people forgetting good and bad rules or particularly, using rules that have changed with the new book. but what you described sounds like out-and-out cheating. if it was just at a store, hopefully you wont play him again, if it was at a club, someone needs to have a word with him, because it that sort of thing just spoils it for everyone :/
He couldn't actually have Longbeards in that list either. You can't have more Longbeards than Warriors without a Dwarf Lord.
