8th Ed. small games lord hero choices

ok i dont know where i heard it or where i have read it but it goes somethink like this:
"in ~1000pt games if you take a lord and it goes beyond 25% you can take it, but you cant take any other lord/hero"

is this ture or false?
if its true can you point out the page pls

 

You always have up to 25% of your points to spend on Lords.

It is just that simple. If you can fit two lords into 250 points in a 1000 point game, then it is perfectly legal.

 

this i understand. but the question is that i heard/read some where that if your lord/hero goes over 25% limit (especialy in small games) you can keep him but you cant take any other lord/hero. the question is is this legal? i understand that you can take two lords if they fit, im asking is it posible to take one that doesnt fit?


my intention is to use slann in 1000 pt game, and im asking is this legal if i wont take any other char?

 

It does not appear in the rulebook, nope. You'd have to make a house rule for it.

 

25% lords 25% heores. since the slann is a lord and costs more than 1000/4 you can not use him in a 1000 points game according to the BRB

 

I don't know where you read that, but its not a rule. Could have been one of the rumours before the final book came out.
