a mounted stegadon or carnosaur can join can a unit of infantry? has anyone done this? what benefits would this provide?
yes probably someone has, but i havent not a lot. conferns higher LD, and stops autobreaking from fear. doesnt really protect the monster though.
You get more static combat resolution I guess, but I think most people just combo charge if they need more SCR.
Also seing as bouth of those mounts cause terror, you pass on the terror imuneity to the ranked unit.
a carnosaur cant be picked out if its in a squad tho right? because its not unit STR 5 or monstrous or something, i read that somewhere.
