Got a Battleforce box, start collecting box, & Bastilladon on the way. Is this the right place for the support group meeting?

Hi. I’m Vroomer. I got my first set of beakies & a Rogue Trader back in 1992. Played a little Necromunda back in the day. Got an AoS 1.0 starter & it sat until AOS 2.0 released... Took my son to my local GW & he’s hooked on all things GW.

That's some mighty fine parenting there, welcome to the forums!

Let us know if you have any specific questions about game play, fluff, painting, or anything else.

Hey! welcome, Hope you both enjoy a few tips:
1. Don't rush into anything and think about it first
2. make sure you don't buy too many models quicker than he can paint otherwise they will get backed up and trust me it gets a bit stressful.
3. Keep all your spare bits to use on conversions and scenery
4. don't let your son compare his models painting to other peoples, other people have probably been painting for years and have a lot of experience
5. If he gets frustrated or annoyed just take a break
6. Don't Spend too long painting in one session and keep having 10-minute breaks every hour or so, this means you find it more enjoyable and less of a job
Enjoy.
