Solar Engine conversion?

So, I hate the ring pop crystal on the solar engine, but the bastiladon is gorgeous.

Would love to do a venusaur conversion, but my conversion/sculpting skills are, at best, pedestrian. Any ideas, advice?

Maybe use some fake flowers to mimic venusaur more closely?
