8th Ed. Something up with the Slann? Availibility

Was at the GW site looking to order a Slann but under availibility instead of saying shipps within 24 hours, it says: Product will Despatch in 3 - 4 weeks.... interesting!

Yeah I see it too. Huh... Must be back ordered.

 

Finecyst?

 

God i hope not, I still think finecast is the biggest money scam GW tought off.
More expensive and i have seen my share of miscast and bubbles.

 

I was told by my GW store manager it was going finecast along with Kroxigor's.

 

I may be one of the few, but I'm looking forward to the finecast. I'm not a fanboy of GW by any means, but I like working with the stuff.

My Kroq-Gar wasn't perfect when I bought it, so I got GW to replace it, so ended up with 2. The second one was much better than the first. Im having a tough time finding pre-owned or 2nd hand Krox and Slann, and I was going to bite the bullet and order them.

Then I saw the news about availibility and have decided to wait and see....

 

says 24 hours for me... (Australia).

 

Aus takes a while to catch up with the rest. Possibly lots still to sell here.

UK now says 24 hours. Its only US that is still 3-4 weeks. I wouldn't really expect them to say dispatched 3-4 weeks of the plan was to switch to resin. They would look to get rid of the stock they had, and resin will be repackaged and repriced so you won't order now and get a resin one in 4 weeks. And Krox are 24 hours.

Sounds to me more like just a temporary supply problem. For sure Slann and krox will go resin at some point, but who knows when.
