This is my 1k list of lizardmen. My theme is based on Huanchi. I am new to the Lizardmen so any input would be appreciated. Since your army is focused on Huanichi, I would put the Scar Veteran on a cold one and put him with the cavalry unit. Since he will be your general, sending him flying all alone into the enemy with the jaguar charm isn't a good idea; even if he survives he could be too far away for the skinks in your army to use his leadership. Whether you keep him on foot or not, the enchanted shield will help him stay alive longer. With just one wizard, you may want to focus more on using the priest for magic defense than giving him the grubs to help get a single spell off. The Diadem of power will let him save his own two dice for dispelling, and the two dice from the pool can be used to cast a spell. Plaque of Tepok is also a decent choice and would give him an extra spell to use. I love using skink warriors, but I think they need kroxigors with them to be effective in combat. A big group of plain skinks is too easy to break or panic, and they'll give the enemy easy points when he captures their banner. Making the skirmisher unit smaller will make it easier to maneuver and will free up some points. I think you'll find two skirmisher units of 10 will serve you better than one of 18. Oh wow. Never thought of any of that. You make some valid points. Hmm. Looks like i have some tweeking to do. I did consider the krox with skinks, that make work. Maybe ill trim the saurus unit down for a stronger cold one unit. Thanks for the input!
