This is just somthing i want to clear up and see if i've missed anything. I can't see any point in giving a spear to a mounted saurus character it cots the same as a great weapon and surely a great weapon would be far more usefull. I cant see the point on foot troops either it would only be usefull on a challange and still would only give you one more attack. Have i missed somthing or have over people had similar experiance with spears.
Well both give you +1 strength on a mounted character. The good thing about the spear is that you can use a shield and won't strike last in subsequent rounds. Not a great amount of difference, it's one of those preference things I guess
