8th Ed. Staff of the Lost sun/ blowpipe: How many shots fired?

Stupid question: when it says 2x/3x multiple shots fired, does it mean that a skink chief weilding previous said items get 2/3 shoots of or does he multiply it with his 3 attacks? Thus getting 6/9 shots when shooting?

Easy answer, you can't use two different ranged weapons at the same time,
if for some reason you equiped him with both he would have to use the Lost Sun,
and it does 3x shots.

What the... Hell no! Your attacks characteristic has no bearing on how many shots you get (unless youre a wood elf with the bow of whatever).
