Hey Guys, Im relatively new to Seraphon, i played a few games by now, but didnt try the new edition yet. I was always running Fangs of Sotek, cause i like a Skink heavy, magic, summoning list. Also my goal is to run a decent competitiv list for an upcoming tournament at the 16.07. Have to post my list there till the 9. July. Do you think the new Sun of Shyish is worth taking? Foundation is a magic heavy bunker, the two Starpriests can extend the Range of Kraoks spells and will buff up the 2x30 Skinks. The Battlemage (Chamon) can reduce the movment of a enemie unit in 18" and lets me reroll hitrolls of one if the enemie unit has a save of 2+, 3+ or 4+ (Thought it could be decent "second" Hand of Glory?!).Dmg comes from MW Magic, 2x30 buffed Skinks. 10 Skinks and 5 Knights as screens, Chamo Skinks for sneaky mechanics. The Battlemage and the Chamo Skinks could get swapped for something stronger at 220 points? Extra Artefact could be tome on the Priest instead of Cloak, to have 3 potential Kroak Magic extensions and a extra cast? What are your Thoughts on the List? The Battlemage? The Sun? How necessary are Salamanders in a competitiv setting? Grand Strategie "Astromatrix" over "Defend whats ours"? Are Bounty Hunters a must have with the new GHB 22/23? Cause i dont find a usefull way to include some in my lists. MW magic dmg, 30 buffed Skinks, 2 Sallys. 10Skinks, 5Knights as Screens. The Trog could get swapped for a EotG with Tome, so it counts as a skink wizard and can also extend the range of Kroaks spells. In this List the Summoning works a little better, cause i can get d3 CP more a round from the Trog. But I always feel like the Trog is a high investment, most of the time you just hold him back as a utility unit for 270 points, is that worth? How essential are the Sallys? Do you prefer one list over the other? what are your suggestions on Fangs of Sotek power houses? Thanks everyone in advance for their Suggestions and Help!
