Starting new army - Lizardmen

Hey all,

I figured i'd share my progress today. I just recently got back into tabletop games again. I started with WHFB back when my uncle bought me the Bretonnia vs Lizardmen set roughly 16 years ago. Sadly, most of those pieces/figures are gone since i was so young. Now, I have decided to get back into with a Lizardmen army. Ideally, I am going to be playing KoW since most of my friends play that. Here are 2 pictures of the first Lizardmen unit that I painted. Please note the base is not done yet but i am happy with the paint scheme.

I like how the scheme is coming about. How did you do the purple for the top spines, as well as the scale colors?

Thank you! - so for the purple at the top i did a mix of red/blue from army painter - used a bit more blue. Then i washed it with carroburg crimson. The scale colors I used:

1: painted it with stegadon scale green
2: washed it with coelia greenshade
3: and dry brushed it with zandri dust
