Sure these has been asked before but as I am new to the army I have no idea. Under the entry to the Stegadons it states jungle poison, so are the stegs also poisoned attacks? (if not why not!? ) Would a bsb with banner of the eternal flame make the blowpipes and the impact hits of the STegs flaming also? Although a character may not use his bs for the blowpipes ets can he still assist with the firing if they have lost crew to allow one to fire? Cheers in advance
Jungle poisons is special unique rule that applies poison only to ranged attacks, so just the giant bow/blowpipes benefit.
Also rolling 6 to hit with giant bow only auto wounds 1st rank, subsequent ranks have to roll to wound (the poison get wiped off going through 1st body).
The bsb with the banner of flame would give the unit's attacks (ranged and close combat) the flaming attack benefit. One exception is the thunderstomp which an FAQ removed from included special rules on. That being said, only a skink BSB can take the banner and steggie mount, making it a very expensive and vulnerable BSB choice. You are far better off with a slaan BSB.
