No, it won't melt, but it might fall off.
the problem is the plastic is a different type from
regular GW plastic, and it's very slick so the super glue
doesn't have much to hold on to.

hmmm... if you mount them like that make sure you add
some of your glue to the center of the clump from the top.
might help it from falling off.

I just did a quick wiggle check on the jungle pieces, it seemed firm. Next I did the only logical thing  and tried to see if the plants could support the models weight (I picked it up by holding the bushes, it actually held!) Not sure if they're made from a different plastic or the superglue is different but everything seems A'ok!

maybe you are using a gel type super glue ?

The troops are looking superb. Really nice paint work and I love the use of fish plants. Wunderbar!!

Looks good but take him a tad further, highlight the shield you can just drybrush it and I would then glaze the blue.

But a very fine job @StinkySkinky ;)
Done! The dry brushing really improved the shield, made it less bland and boring. The glazing helped bring out the blue too. Cheers :)

I bought some magnetic sheets and some small magnets for a total of £7.50. Each sheet can do two 4x4 movement trays (Maybe enough leftover to do two 5x2 trays too). The sheets already have an adhesive so you just cut them to size and stick them on. Superglue magnets to the bases and you're good to go! - I know this has been done a million times before but I was just so impressed with the end result, I can just shove those guys in a toolbox/hardcarry case and they're good to go.

I do mine another way, stick the self adhesive magnet on the bottom of the mini base but both do the same job ;)

Awesome stuff. I've magnetized all my WoC and I plan to do the same with my Lizardmen. It is so convenient and space efficient storing them in a tool box. I stick small magnets on the bases of the minis, sheet metal on the topside of my movement trays and larger magnets on the underside of my movement trays.
Were is the pic?
Agreed!

That looks much better, ypur getting the hang of this painting lark!

o_O Maybe do another layer of yellow on the face so it matches the brightness of the yellow on the back scales?

My first model after a 2 year break! (Still has some tidying up to do however, I also kind of broke him ;D)
Super hyped to get back into painting and getting an army going to bring some seraphon whoop ass to my local store!
