Does anyone know where to find some stories of Kroq-Gar, besides those in the army book and the End Times. Story Eight: Call of the Stars is the only story I can find on this forum.

Always wonder why he got so little stories. I think he can be a great protagonist.
Here is my thoughts on his story arc
(1)Lizardmen's empire and his life before the Great Catastrophe.
(2)The great war against demons through his perspective.
(3)How he survived the Great Catastrophe and became the last defender.
(4)How he overcame the losses of everything he knew and cared, and became the greatest general of Lizardmen.
Hope someone will pick up these ideas and write a saga:p
What do you guys think ?

Just a picture I made

I think one of the challenges of writing from their perspective is how they interact with other races and just their general hierarchy: The Slann wouldnt be bothered with meeting with lesser begins on top of saurus and other Lizardmen/Seraphon aside from priests not being able to properly communicate with other races (to my knowledge). Ofncourse you can always just say an Oldblood used magic or was blessed to be able to understand multiple tongues but many might just see that as lazy writing

they use skink interpreters for that as there are 3 or 4 instances of skinks talking directly with humans before the world fell

That's my point though, you cant just have a saurus character on their own talking to the free cities or whatever, you always have to have a skink

then don't have them acting as a diplomat thats not what they do any way. they are warriors and generals have a story where a artifact was stolen and you have a small spawning of saurus hunting them down

Obviously, but my point is you couldnt even write a story of a saurus who was the last remainder of a vanquished army trying to find their way very well due to the lack of communication

I'm just thinking out loud why there may not be more saurus themed or focused books/stories/etc that dont go beyond the battle scenes etc

Man that's a great pic. I've long been tempted to do some Kroq-Gar stuff, I just might end up doing something some time. Possibly a story set during the Rise of Sotek, featuring Kroq-Gar, Tehenhauin and Nakai.
