In a matched play game you can have X number of Heroes, Monsters, etc. for whatever max points you decide to use. My question is; through summoning, can you get more of whatever unit type than what the rules allow for your pitched army?

Ex: if I were doing a 1000 pnt battle and could only have two monsters in my army list, could I use summoning points to possibly summon in a third monster?

If you had points left, yes you can go over it. Same goes with heroes etc. as long as you have the reserved points, roll the summon and not get dispelled, it’s cool

Yeah that's pretty great.

It's a good way to get in another Steggy etc

Just for the record, it's specifically clarified in a FAQ

Where at? I can't seem to find it

Reinforcement Points

Because restrictions are determined when you pick your army, units added later using reinforcement points can allow the army to exceed the normal limitations for leaders, artillery and behemoths
