It's a pretty safe assumption that when we get our new book, we won't have to pay extra to buy the Sword of Striking (and we won't get to pay less for the Warbanner but that's another story).

Do you guys out there expect to use the Sword of Striking often? I do. I think at 15 points (and able to carry a shield) it would win out over my current favorite: Fencer's Blades.

I would tend to agree with your assessment. At 15 points it's pretty much the most efficient magical weapon since it is always useful.

I disagree. Strength 6 or more is more important than another hit. Sword of Striking is barely better than +1 attack, while other things, like strength, have a larger impact.

I agree with OP, if i didnt have to pay 10 extra points for the sword I would use it way more often.

Whether or not it is a staple depends on what other magic items are in the book.

I'm not convinced I will want to be taking Saurus characters at all.
