So I was sat at home talking to a few friends that I generally play the game with and I thought what weird and wacky skink orientated list could I come up with, with what I own? here's what I conjured up Lords: Slann w/ Higher state of consciousness. taking lore of beasts Heroes: Priest with dispell scroll (lore of heavens) Priest with cube (LoH) Priest (LoH) Scar-vet w/ Cold one, great weapon, BSB, Armor of destiny Scar-vet w/ Cold one, great weapon, light armor, opal amulet (4+ward) Core: 22x Skink Cohort w/ full command, and 2 kroxigors 10x Skink Skirmishers 10x Skink Skirmishers 10x Skink Skirmishers 10x Skink Skirmishers 10x Skink Skirmishers Special: Stegadon w/ sharpened horns 5x Cold one riders Rare Ancient Stegadon w/ Engine of the gods, sharpened horns 2x salamanders and there we go, my crazy list that will break against anything like waves upon a cliff face. any comments/advice/critique is welcomed and encouraged enjoy
To be honest ,this list doesn't look much different to a "normal" list (apart from the Skrox mb) It's a solid looking list though.
By way of response, I will post my own version of the same challenge. Not only do I not intend to run this list, I probably never will. My local meta largely eschews special characters. If I had it to do over again (and I don't, because it's past time I get to bed) I'd swap out the stegadon for a bastiladon, because giving the skinks really high Initiative scores would be entertaining. Alternately, keep the stegadon drop Tehenhuain and run with Tette'eko as my general and add two bastiladons and a second stegadon (probably also a baby with a giant bow, to provide more of that high-Strength punch that Skinks lack).

You'd say ancient instead of more babies? I really think that a Skink list would benefit from more sources of Strength 5 at long range than it would from fussilades of Strength 3 at short range. Skinks can already put out a ton of Poisoned Strength 3 attacks in the 12'' range, as well as in melee, but nothing else can reach out and touch your target at 36'' at a Strength that can wound most things in the game more often than not. Though I guess without access to Hand of Glory, and unless it's clarified that the chief can fire the bow, the low BS on that single shot is going to smart, since you want to be able to advance the stegadon into combat as well...
