    Hello everyone!

So I haven't played my lizzies (i.e. Warhammer) in 8 years, and could really use some tips!

My friends invited me to play a casual 7th edition 2000 point 3 man free-for-all, and I thought it could be fun to tryout again. The one plays Warriors of Chaos w/Archaon (eek!) and the other is fielding Demons of Chaos.

My only history with playing the game was against HE and OaG.. So I'm a little out of my element!

Any tips for 7th edition units that I would be a fool not to include?

I'd like to do an Inxi Huinzi CoC unit (yay no stupidity), a Slann + TG anvil, Steggers (bow? stand back and shoot if they don't engage me?), and some sallies.. But I understand these might be terrible against my opponents, so I don't have to include them!

Should I be trying to simply outmaneuver them with Skrox/skirmishing skinks, and then flank with saurus or something?

    Help!

    Thanks!

I'm assuming that you mean you're playing using the 7th edition Lizardmen book, and the 8th edition Warhammer rulebook. I'm confused. Please clarify.

In the 7th Lizardmen book, there is an Engine of the Gods and it has a power which does D6 Strength 5 hits on Daemon/Undead/Forest Spirits (and Str 4 for other types) units within 2D6" which is good against Daemons. It also boosts your magic but it costs a fair amount of points and you have to buy it as a mount for the Skink Priest. The effects cannot be dispelled.

Also, WoC have very elite but very expensive units. For example, and a unit of 12 Chaos Warriors with Full Command costs over 200 points but they are more than a match for your core units.
