Slann joins a unit of Temple Guard, and the the unit becomes stubborn. Stubborn says you're steadfast no matter how many ranks you have, so why don't more people run a Slann + Temple Guard 4 wide? Not only does it look better to have a symmetrical unit with a Slann right in the middle, but you also minimize the amount of wounds you receive back. Stubborn/LD 9 or 10, makes a heck of a tar-pit.

    Thoughts?

Temple Guard have decent killing power. It's awfully expense to use TG as a tarpit. Better to use Skink Cohorts in BSB range.

Unfortunately, due to the wording of the Temple Guards "Guardian" rule, you need ranks of at least 5 wide for the slann to go to the 2nd rank.

Silly wording IMO, and most opponents shouldn't have a problem with it, but it's pretty cut-and-dried RAW-wise. Symmetry-wise 6 wide works just as well and you can let those TG really dish it out! :smug:
