8th Ed. Temple guard horde

As the title says I am new to lizards and was curious if anyone has tried it? I no its a ton of points but its also seems like decent point denial.

i tried it, while playing light, and i can tell u , the damage out put is amazing

I am also considering a temple guard horde, but can't decide between Shadow, Light or Life on my Slann. Is there a consensus for this situation? Any nifty tricks you guys can suggest are appreciated

Honestly it sounds scary lol and very costly... I would think of it, what 10x5 or what else ?

I do a horde of 36 TG with the Slann (10x4 derp). I've done both Light and Life. Light causes more damage but is a lot less reliable. Life is more reliable but doesn't have the power potential of Light. In my opinion Life is just better overall for Lizards, but for the TG horde Light works very well as well.

Personaly I allways wanted to try a hoard of temple guard with Lord Kroak.

I think it's probaly a viable unit in a 2500 point army.
