Hi, I`m new to Warhammer but i have so far loved it. All I have is 16 saurus warriors and the lizardmen rule book. I would now like to get a Terradon (Yes just one to start with) and well paint it. (of course)

What painting methods and colours should I use for just a normal green with a white ish underside terradon?

P.S- I would love any other tips for saurus and some rules if you can be bothered.

Get yourself a color wheel at your local art supply store. Or google an interactive one. This way you can see what color (s) are opposite of the green on the wheel. Using my handy dandy color wheel, I find that the primary color of
Green Terradon would benefit from the opposite Red or you could use a three point color scheme with a red-violet and a red-orange that would create good contrasts against the green terradon. The red-violet and the red-orange for the terradon riders.

    Just my thoughts.

And as another opinion, I don't like to go too far from the color for the 2nd color but the third color you choose should be on the opposite side to give some contrast as Arli had stated.. So with green you could go with maybe a brown or a blue depending on if you are using a darker or lighter green (since you were already planning on having a white underbelly you might just make it a cream one or an off-tan), and then go with red as a color to bring out contrast.

Really though, a big rule with the Lizards is that as long as you are neat with your painting it almost doesn't matter what colors you choose :jawdrop:) I just go with colors that I like whether they are going to look good together or not!

As for painting methods, be sure to look in the forums and go onto the games workshop site for the articles on painting to learn basic techniques.. The best rule of thumb is to take your time and have patience because painting isn't something you learn to do very quickly! Just keep going at it and you'll get the hang of it
