I'm still deciding on how to differentiate the beastmaster skinks from my normal skirmishers, as soon as I do they'll be painted up and added on top. Used the bases in the kit for my jungle swarms so it's alternative ones until I find replacements.

I think you have to provide highlights to finish your model!

My painting skills are pretty basic so bear with me while I try out some of these more advanced techniques; I'm going to add the fireleech bolas before deciding on light distribution and which side to highlight. I'm also thinking about trying out a glowing light affect to add some warmth and break up the wing pattern a bit. Maybe completed is a bit of an overstatement!

Well.. It isn't bad at all for a basic paint job, Youtube have some nice tutorials!

Love the paint job on these, the stripes make it stand out nicely. Can't wait to see how the fireleech bolas turn out, the terradons are one of the sets I really enjoy seeing.

I really like the concept of these guys. As others have said, some highlighting/finishing touches will really complete these guys. Either way, a job well done thus far!

These were tricky to sync up but not nearly as tricky as gluing those dang collars on!
