terradons have a 6+ scaly skin save

do they benefit from the +1 armor for being mounted or since the skink and terradon are combined into one profile that the +1 doesn't apply?

As you have already hinted at, Terradons have a combined profile so, specifically referring to the rules, is not considered a mounted unit. This means that they do not benefit from any additional modifier to their armor save.
