Is Tetto'eko even useful anymore with the new rules he is more self destructive than anything becasue on any irisistable force at causes you to role on the miscast table.
Dam! just beat me to it. I always thought that tetto'eko was alright, and is the most underated of the lizardmens special characters. He is always fun to use, even if he's not necessarily that good.
I'm only about 8 weeks back into playing since 4th/5th Ed so I;m a born again noob. But, I like him, I like the ability to reform after deployment and the miscast with all the LoHeavens. I figured he'd be okay for your 2nd tier hero, whats the beef? Is he that bad? Do ppl take Tehenhauin over Tetto'?
generally speaking, with the possible exception of gor rok, no one fields the special characters. they are all far to expensive for what they do....
I have fielded him 2-3 times. Once in 8th edition. He is fun to play, that is all. Not worth the points in my opinion. I have never been able to successfully use the cosmic event (it's only good for one turn). I have also taken Tehenhauin a couple of times. He is fun as well. Now, I will take him again as I now have a dragon model for him If he rolls the 6th spell (too bad he isn't a lore master).
Thanks Ilnar and Arli, I see what you mean. I'm seeing the usefulness of having my priests being extra range for my Slaan with some dispels or bane heads + a level.
