I just wanted to ask that what do you guys think this legendary beast, Thunder Lizard, would look like to you? A herbivore, carnivore, something between, standing two or four legs..? I have seen only one conversion of this behemoth and I'm planning to do my own too, so I just wanted to ask what everybody else think of this mysterious beast.

Im pretty sure its a massive Sauropod since the thing actually existed

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apatosaurus

Mix it up with extra scales and spikes and I think you got a pretty good Hammersaur.

i would prefer it to be something like this

A sauropod would make more sense but IMO it is not as interesting as something that can eat an entire civilization :D

I can't see the a sauropod filling the descritption of a thunder lizard in the army book. It just doesn't fit in my mind (that does not mean that it couldn't be a sauropod though).

    weird. i can see it.

    its the giganotosaurus from turok

i havent read the army book in a bit but if i remember correctly it says that the thunder lizard would rampage through the jungle and with its bulk it sounded like thunder and it would crush the trees as it went through. So if you consider the size I would say a sauropod. But the speed makes me think theropod especially if its a carnivorous dino.

Another beast that comes to mind are the basilisks that Magic the Gathering uses sometimes. Some of them are rather large, walk on 4 legs and are carnivores.

This looks pretty interesting. Somewhat similar to how I imagine they would look.

I can only hope something like an organic, firebreathing steam tank!

I would imagine something with like a steg, with impact hits and thunderstomp, but could thunderstomp anything other than other monsters. If that were to pass the decision board, they'd have to make it crap in other areas or it'd get accused of being overpowered. So maybe, i1 x1 attack and ridiculously expensive (as is everything else on our list).
While I'm putting together a wish list, lets make it true to fluff and make it 2d6 impact hits!
