hey guys i was wondering if u could give some comments on this color scheme

Skin=a dark purple
Scales=A purpleish blue
Shields=same as scales
Metal parts= a color similar to space wolves grey but slightly darker(kind of like ice weapons, hence the mountain lizards)
The metal gets a blue wash while the scales get a brown was and the skin gets a purple wash.

any advice would be great, as well as some techniques i might want to try on my lizards..

I for one would love to see a testmodel...sounds good though.
Cant w8 to see the model.

My feelings with skin and scales on Lizardmen is that the scales should be darker than the skin. Other than that, purplish tones and blessed by Tepok are awesome!

Again, sounds good but like others have said a test model (usually ends up being a skink) would be the easiest way to determine if it will work as a colour scheme.

Also, all the scales on my lizardmen are lighter in colour than the skin and it seems to work fine too, although my stegadon has darker scales than skin.

I think you should make the shields a different color though, or it will look a little flat, once you get it painted, that's my guess, but I'd like to see what you come up with.

Colors look like they work well together. You should look at how they do ice for the yheteez or marble like for Chakax for the weapons. Also once you do that highlighting and stuff will make it look great.
