So I picked up my new Lizardmen book. I have never played them before, but I am looking into them hard core. I am a Wood Elf player, and I wanted a change up, so I decided to go with lots of magic and lots of Stegadons. I am just trying to decide between two lists, so if you guys could help me out, it would be much appreciated.

    So here is list one:

    Heroes:

    Skink Chief
    -Ancient Stegadon
    -Light Armor
    -Shield
    -Stegadon War-Spear

    Skink Chief
    -Stegadon
    -Light Armor
    -BSB
    -War Drum of Xahatec
    -Enchanted Shield

    Skink Priest
    -Lvl 2
    -Engine of the Gods
    -Dispel Scroll
    -Diadem of Power

    Skink Priest
    -Lvl 2
    -Cloak of Feathers
    -Plaque of Tepok

    Core:

    (16x) Skinks
    -Full Command
    -(2x) Kroxigors

    (16x) Skinks
    -Full Command
    -(2x) Kroxigors

    (10x) Skink Skirmishers
    -Blowpipes

    (10x) Skink Skirmishers
    -Blowpipes

    Special:

(4x) Kroxigors or (8x) Chameleon Skinks (if Chameleon Skinks, than +1 unit of 4 Terradon Riders)

    (4x) Terradon Riders

    And here is the second:

    Skink Chief
    -Light Armor
    -Shield
    -Stegadon
    -Stegadon War-Lance

    Skink Chief
    -Stegadon
    -Light Armor
    -BSB
    -War Drum of Xahatec

    Skink Priest
    -Lvl 2
    -Engine of the Gods
    -Dispel Scroll
    -Diadem of Power

    Skink Priest
    -Lvl 2
    -Engine of the Gods
    -Plaque of Tepok

    Core

    (16x) Skinks
    -Full Command
    -(2x) Kroxigors

    (16x) Skinks
    -Full Command
    -(2x) Kroxigors

    (10x) Skink Skirmishers
    -Blowpipes

    (10x) Skink Skirmishers
    -Blowpipes

    Special:

    (4x) Terradon Riders

So I am liking the first list personally, but I dunno, thought, comments, questions?

    Thanks in advance! :)

Ok so both lists are kind of lose, im a wood elf player also by the way i got like 6k of wood elfs probably more actually more like 8k.

Ok so you want to run a heavy dino list this is kind of easy this is how you do it. Run The Slan lord on a Dino for you lord. Then run 1 Engine of the Gods and a Skink with Plage of Topiek so you get 4 spells and your lvl 3 mage. These 2 mages will be more then enough to do magic, but you do need scrolls so give 1 scroll to your EOTG Skink and get 1 more Skink Preist lvl 2 with 2 scrolls. Now get a chieften on an ancient dino with the lance of 2d6+1 impact hits. Now get some skinks and finally get some rare stegadons. This would give you more of a magic list while still having 3-4 Dinos to play with. Be ware though Dinos might look fun and cool but if i saw a player pull out that many im taking Lore of Shadow and casting pit of shades on thouse dinos lol. Well best of luck, i dont see Dinos being a big threat, sure you can have a bunch but there only 4+ save or 3+ save thats nto that great and there slow there nto dragons.

I think they look like fun list to play! You can move a few points around though, because giving characters in Stegadons armor isn't helpful at all, because Howdah saves cannot be improved in any way. So having a shield or light armor is a waste of points.

Not to mention the enchanted shield in your first list - lose it and spend the points somewhere else. I don't have any useful ideas other than that, but it looks like a lot of fun!
