    Howdy.

I started my Lizardmen army about two months ago. Never got much of a chance to try it out yet, but I think I should post my army here.

    Slann Mage-Priest
Plaque of Dominion, Divine Plaque of Protection

    Skink Priest [ Level 2 ]
    Diadem of Power, Bane Head

    Skink Priest [ Level 2 ]
    Dispel Scroll

    4x Kroxigor
    3x Kroxigor

    8x Chameleon Skinks
    Stalker

    3x Terradon Riders

    10x Skink Skirmishers
    10x Skinks
    10x Skinks

    Stegadon

    3x Salamanders

I understand there is issue with the Slann not having a generation spawning, but I wanted to bulk out a little bit, so said I will try him out without one first. Come the new list in 2mths it won't matter anyway since spawning and generations will be gone.

    Cheers,
    J.

Wow, this list is really punchy, lots of magic, lots of kroxigors. It will certainly beat up anything it can charge against, but it doesn't have a lot of plus to combat resolution, and so might be chased off the board by huge blocks. I personally like blocks, since they can hold the line, but there's nothing wrong with this list at all, you could even run it as a southlands list and give spawnings to your skinks or give them short bows.

I'm actually used to playing without SCR, my other armies being Chaos cavalry and a mainly cavalry Dark Elves list. Some blocks wouldn't be too bad, but I'm not a fan of Saurus at the moment. Of course things will all change soon. Thanks to the drop in the Slanns price in the new book I may afford another Stegadon :bored:

A strong list, much like my own. The important is to watch out for fast moving units, like Fast Cav and Skirimishers in particular. Fear-Causers are the Bane of this army because it looks like you're deploying a lone Slann, which is my strategy, but beware because units like Dryads, Slaanesh creatures, Wild Riders, and other such monsters can slip around you and get into combat with the Slann, sending him off the board and costing you the fight.

    Hi!
You could probably drop a level in one of the priests (and the bane head too, in your list, it only makes sense on the slann). I see that you use both terradons and chamaeleons. They sort of fulfill the same roll, so maybe you could drop one of those, or better yet, you could use the mighty JsoD(Jaguar Saurus of Death/Doom, aka Nike Saurus :D ). Oh, and make your slann a level 4. No miscasts is too good to pass up.

    Cheers!
