8th Ed. The story so far

Ok... My newborn lizardmen army is slowly growing, i'm looking forward to the day they can finally begin to squadh some skaven's head. So far i have:

- 1 Saurus oldblood/Scar vet
- 1 Saurus oldblood/Scar vet on Cold one
- 2 Skink priest
- 16 Saurus warriors(w/hweapon and shields, FC)
- 31 Lizardmen skinks(w/ blowpipes)
- 1 salamander hunting pack
- 5 Cold one riders
- 5 Chameleon skinks

I know it's still a veey poor army, but i'm trying to buy unit by unit taking my time.
Anyways, considering my very first games will be 800/1000 points for fun, mainly
afainst Skaven, what should i buy next? other saurus? temple guard? slann? stegadon?
any suggestion is well accepted

Slann and 20 temple guard.

or Slann and a batalion box (with temple guarde in it) for a better deal.
because you probaly need some more saurus anyway.

I'd buy a stegadon next. You'll use him in both big and small games and it's a lot of fun to put together and paint.

Thank you all for the advices I think i'll take a stegadon next (and maybe another salamander), just because i think it's too early for Slann. what about Kroxigors? should i take one?

i had the chance to buy 1 regiment of saurus and 1 of skinks (20 dollars both) so i think i'll focus on the slann next, maybe i could place the slann inside a saurus unit instead of placing him inside a temple guard one?

thats how I do him. move him out before combat so he can't get challenged and owned. his look out sir bunker is now core troops and a win/win I think
