ATM I'm not into a particular team.

I'd like to see Messi, I mean Argentina, defend the crown. After that, I wouldn't mind seeing Norway go far. And there is always Brazil.

Beyond that, Switzerland and England would be fun to see do well.

On the flip side, I want to see Protugal and France fall. Sadly, France is favoured by many to be the favourites to win the whole damn thing.

I don't want Penaldo fans to have that one. It drives them nuts that Messi has a World Cup and they do not. As for France, I despise Mbappe's attitude. Without a doubt a highly skilled player, but he is always in it for himself and never for the team.

Me neither, and i'm confident.
Ronaldo couldn't achieve it in his prime, he's not going to have it now... no single player can win a world cup by himself alone, he needs a team: Argentina is a high tier team, Portugal isn't. Once there is a good team, then you can be its leader and drive it to victory.

That's my worry though, Portugal is a good team. Currently ranked 5th in the world. I don't fear that Portugal will win because of Ronaldo, I fear that they could potentially carry him to a victory.
