So recently my friend and I decided we wanted to give fantasy a try and with the new codex on the horizon I'm thinking about starting lizardmen. Any good tips to help me get started? The current battlion seems like a good place to start (the new one doesn't seem to have as solid of a core because of the smaller amount of skinks and saurus). Also a scar-vet and possibly skink priest just to get things started. Anything else I should look into?
Re: Think about starting Lizardmen Nope not really..... Kidding. For the first 500 Points the batalion does the whole thing pretty much. Considering for 1000 points try Skink preist Old Blood Skink box ( Trust me it is worth it in the end) Wait for new codex And wait and see after that for what comes out.

Re: Think about starting Lizardmen If you havn't yet, take a look at the armylists at this site to help you get some ideas. Also, start by buying the armybook an figure out your preferable playingstyle. Good luck!
