    Hey guys I'm new on this forum. I love lizards and like the rest of you merry folks I have been waiting for the new book. I think the new book is still quite powerful, but mostly still offer the same old play style.

    However there are a few things which have changed which I will be trying while testing my list for tournaments throughout the year to reach my goal. But more about later, enough musings lets look at the list. I will like your comments first and then I will offer my reasons for the way it's put together.

    Slann, bsb, stnd of discipline, soul of stone, lore master high, channel 3x, save a dd to pd, channeling staff,
    Skink priest, beast, lvl2, scroll
    Skink priest, lvl 2, beast
    Scar veteran, cold one, light armour, gw, stegaddon helmet, luck stone
    Scar veteran, cold one, light armour, charmed shield, sword of might, dawn stone

    3 x 10 skink cohorts
    3 x 10!skink skirmishers
    20 x Saurus warriors, champ, mus, spears

    2 x 3 terradons
    8 x kroxigors

    3 x razordons

    I think you are a little magic heavy for this level. I would consider dropping the second skink priest, or at least dropping each to level 1.

    Warriors with spears need at least 30 in my opinion. At 20 you are only a few casualties away from not getting the optimum use of the spears.

    I still think razordons are weak, but if you can get them to work for you, great.

    One other problem is that a lot of tournaments use the Blood and Glory game. Your Slann dies, and you lose the game.

    I recommend taking at least dragongem and some odd 5pts magic weapon for stegahelm guy, so you have at least one figure who can deal with hex wraiths

    I don't think razordons are worth some 200pts. I'd drop them, take bastilladon/ Rippers/Chamos instead and take scroll of shielding for 2nd priest, should come in handy when magic missiles start to fly towards kroxies.

    Hey guys

    Thank you for the feedback. Let me answer each of your points.

    This is one of the things I have been thinking about myself. The reason for two beast priest is of course the 2 wildforms. That way my slann doesn't has to waste time switching for wildform himself. I want 2 of the spell in order to reliably force it through the turn it matters. THe reason for why they are both lvl 2 is that I would like a good chance to get the spear since it can deal with big armoured large targets which is otherwise a problem for the lizards. However I think the 100 p is better used on a unit of terradons.

    I don't agree simply. Even in that sized they cant go toe to toe with most foes in the game in my experience. So the saurus has a different role in my list I find. Namely to be a reliably bunker for the slann, and to make a bus when necessary. In the late game when the enemy units are weaken the slann and two scarveterans can go in there and make a mini death star and get those juicy points from depleted units.

    I don't think so. WIth the cost decrease and most importantly the rng 18" they add to our shooting phase quite nicely. Especially with hand of glory on their BS. I think bigger units might be better. Need to be tested.

    After a lot of thinking Im not quite sure that the stegadon helmet is optimal on a scarveteran. The problem being that you really would like a reroll to keep him survivable. However, you almost need flaming ward on him when playing against deamons and metal magic.

    I played on practise game against lizards the other night which gained a win. It was against a monster mash list. The skinks simply rule supreme.
