    Hello everybody,

I was wondering how you transported your new Lord Kroak around, are three magnets at the bottom enough or did you cut out a foam piece so he fits into it?

    Thank you all for answering.

i use magnets. as for how many that depends on how hefty the ones you are using are

That's actually a very good question.
I think that i would probably only play him safe at home. :p

I transport all my large models with sticky out bits wrapped in bubble wrap in short comics boxes. And I still have trouble. It seems like the expectorant from the Troglodon gets broken off even if I carry it around in my hands! I have a bunch of the GW cases, but I've found those are really only good for smaller figures, even turning over the foam and cutting out some of the dividers.

I transport my models with fragile bits like this:
Put them in a plastic container of the right size, use poster putty to attach their base to the container, then fill the container with paper towel.
Be careful taking them out at your destination.

Better than every alternative I tried.

I have a custom transport that I paid $100 to be made. Kroak just fits on the top shelf of it

I use Really Useful Boxes with magnetic sheets stuck to the bottom. Then magnets on the bases of all my models

If your boxing models up with foam pick up some pick n pull foam inserts, get a few thinner ones and you can basically create a custom insert for the model. Or buy a solid piece and carve out the area you want.

I do exactly the same thing and it works well. It’s also much cheaper than buying a specialized case from Battle Foam, for example.

Magnetic sheets were from Green Stuff World. Really Useful Boxes are a UK company so if you’re in North America, they might be hard to find. I’m in Canada and Staples was the only place I could find them. There’s a wide variety of box sizes though, so you’ll be able to find one tall enough for Lord Kroak.
