    heeey.
    if you dont want to cheat i have some advice for you.
    You can only use 25% on lords in this instance you can use up to 600 points as you have 2 slann thats 300 each. (but you can ofcourse make one cheaper and the other oner a little more expensiv). your life slann costs 315 points and the other one (light) costs 325. But im sure nobody would notice.........

    you should have halberds instead of great weapons otherwise you wont get all the bonusses from light magic

    i think you should take a life and a shadow instead using the minus S debuff from shadows following up with dwellers on an average unit it will kill about 5/6 of them and a good chance of killing any chars in the unit along with them
    or death and shadow also for synergy between - I and purple sun.
    anyways if you use to slann its for synergy between lores not because you want a secondary caster
    you could also take lore of beast on one and lore of light on the other then have 4-6 plain scar-vets casting savage beast and the allways strike first +1 attack double M for maybe 6 X 8 WS 5 S 8 attacks total 48 WS 5 S 8 attacks against anyone with I 2 below you can reroll hits against ogres (i know they are weak but....) you cause 35 wounds and thats before they hit you and their heroes/lords wont kill any scar vets before you cause these 35 wounds (11 ogres) thats 385 points! against black orcs you still cause 35 wounds thats 455 points!!! this is ofcourse wonder opponents so if you want an army that can take other than low I armies on go for the life and shadow twins.
    and if you go for this dont take that many scar vets you need more than one unit of saurus! and dont take cav in a list with 2 slann you want either a HORDE a real HORDE of saurus maybe 50-100 (for light beast twins) or maybe 2-3 units of saurus for any other.

    1 discipline is free. The only extra cost is the bane head and bsb for one slann. Can't post point costs but you all know it ends up at 600 exact :).
