How many tzaangor go in a unit? The battletome says 5, the GHB says 10 but I can't find out which one is newer. Plus, they seem rather powerfull to be used per 10.Anyone who knows?
meh... that's kinda lame... any idea why they changed that specificly? They're fairly powerfull not like they need a unit of 10 to be somehwat effective like say saurus warriors do
Well, it is for matched play, in the case of Dryads it is is because you could have three incredibly cheap alibi Battleline units. For Tzaangors I am not sure. Are they battleline too?
It's a "tax" cuz it enforces certain minimum of stuff used in the army. It's also one of the few rules that enforces a minimum, as opposed to a maximum. Hence "tax" instead of a limit
skinks, saurus wariors and guards and Knights count if you go with seraphon allegiance. It's listed in the GHB (or in the newer battletomes like nurgle)
Thank you very much sir. If I ever decide to play some age of Sigmar or make an army dedicated for it I will remember that
Also, for clarity, battletomes obviously only list it for their own faction. GHB has it for all stuff current at the time of release
Powerful per 10 ? You should face 30 of them with 12 shields, max 2hand weapons. It is the most overwhelming single unit in the meta game right now by far. You just do not wanna mess with it
why would you only give em 12 shields? And I mostly just mean it's weird to buy per 10. I don't think I've seen any other 2+ wound models that are used in bunches of 10.
but orruks are a horde-based army in general. So it fits. Also, the fodder orruks don't have the other stats the tzaangor have, like a ward-save,
