Every army needs a main Lord. And I don't mean you People always have a lord kind they prefer. For instance slann or Old blood. ...Or onr of Them Named characters. Annyhow i always like to give an original name to the lord you like best of your army. Convert it and put it in play under that name (still the stats of the original character) So to all who like to do this too Please post a reply about Your Custom Lord . Mine Is Lord Sutresh. Its far from done (when it is it will be in my gallery and in paint and convert topics) but i want to convert every magic item im gonna give him. He's a Slann Mage Priest. Not shure wich Magic Items i'm Gonna Give Him. But he's gonna be beige for main colour. An image (if the lord is done) is always great to add. Hope to see great replies. Greetings, Nericon
I've named most of my characters in my army actually. Although I haven't actually named my Old blood. Maybe I should. So far I have named my CO-vet and a scroll caddy. (unfortunately he ain't that much of one anymore, I guess?) Crour and Mr. Dispel. (Mr. D) The CO-vet (Crour) was in command for a while though, until I got myself a long wanted Carnosaur. Lets imagine that Crour got old enough and was gifted a Carnosaur then. Despite the multitude of times he was slain with his CO. Cheers!
My main character is Lord Magwe, a Slann of the Fifth generation. He is dark green, and has a little magnet on his throne to attach the army's battle standard to. He is known as 'Magwe the Dreamer' to his peers due to his detached and otherworldly personality (even for a Slann), and the brief but violently intense meditations he slips into between battles against the lesser races. When he awakens, he oftentimes has different knowledge and abilities than before, assimilated during his frantic spiritual journeys across time and space. Of his old skills, not a trace remains- until necessity unlocks them once more. His personality also changes based on the nature of his contemplation; for example, during a time that he focused all his attention on mastering the Lore of Shadows, his aspect became progressively more dark, brooding, and fatalistic. This ended when he was critically wounded by a dwarven cannon, and, on the advice of the older Slann, ruminated on brightness and triumph to speed his recovery. When he awoke, refreshed and healed, he had knowledge of the magic lore of Light. Lord Magwe is tasked with the rebuilding of Kai'quebotl, a smaller Temple city that was still in the process of construction when the Great Catastrophe struck. Thousands of years later, Imperial explorers unwittingly activated the spawning pools beneath the deserted ruins for the first time, and Lord Magwe and a small detachment of skinks and kroxigor have been sent from Xlanhuapec, city of Mists, to reclaim it for the glory of the Old Ones. One thing I'm thinking of doing is painting up a second Slann model with a different color scheme, possibly a black body and white underbelly, to represent that Lord Magwe is using a different type of lore such as Shadows or Death. Sorry for all that; thanks for reading.
As it stands my army is lead by Scar Veteran Xulak and his cold one Nix. This is a detatchment from what will eventually be (once i've bought more models) my main army Which will be led by either a Slann or my Oldblood riding a flightless black dragon which I intend to call a carnosaur >.>
I haven't prepared fluff for my army yet, though I have ideas in mind. My Slann is a slightly mad Slann whose palanquin got nearly destroyed causing him almost to hit the earth (grounds a Slann's magic according to the army book) and thus develop the ability to levitate himself on electrical energy at all times. My Old Blood spawned and immediately took on a role as a chosen one, taming a carnosaur to help save the Temple City from a particularly heavy assault. And my priest dabbled in necromantic magic, which led him to the practice of channeling his magic through live sacrifices. My High Elven army is led by Lord Imrol, an unsuccessful attempt on his life led him to follow the path of the Phoenix Guard.
Lord Sutrash Lord Sutrash Is an apprentice wich goes by the lore of death. Being alive for quite some time now he known many foes and friends. At his young years he even got tought by Lord Kroak himself. But only for a short period of time for that time there was a war going on. Being accompanied by Gor'rok while he was carried to a safe place, He oversaw a lot of death to both friend as foes. Some time later he came to hear kroak abled himself to heep living without a proper body. That inspired him to study the lore of death. Now he lives in the swamplands and along with his right Hand, Garagox. he is sending his forces to places to plunder and return the loot. His greatest dream is to surpass lord kroak and have his skills able to eventually create an undead lizard race to his command. Yet the cruel conciquenses he gives everyone who doesn't play by his rules are unbearable. Foes yet Allies will be butchered and returned to his own folk to give them a message. Or some will be slaughtered at the doorstep of Sutrash his throne.
My Leader is a Saurus Oldblood by the name of Gon-Kai. The former part of his name in reference to the cute little dino from Tekken 3 and the latter part meaning 'forgotten/lost'. He has the title of 'Gon-Kai the Forgotten'. He was spawned during the event of the Great Catastrophe. The spawning ground of his temple city was corrupted by Chaos energy. Only he spawned, which made the Mage-Priests suspect that Chaos was behind it. So even though he is an Oldblood now, no written evidence of him exists. I noticed that most Skinks have absolutely ridiculous names. So my head Skink Priest is named D'abig'Cheezii.
its really nice to hear from people. But could u give us a bit longer story (you could make it up as u type it) because its fun to hear a lot about a lord so we make a new story in the lizardmen.
