8th Ed. Unfathomable Presence and TG

Does a slann with the Unfathomable Presence discipline confer teh 4+ ward save against spells to a unit he has joined (ie TG)?

See page 72 of the CRB. The bottom part specifically mentions characters passing on MR to their unit.

There are several of the smaller rulebooks for sale on ebay for ~$20 that I would strongly recommend. As well as being very affordable it is also more practical since the CRB requires a small truck just to carry it
