Scar-vet - burning blade of Chotec, shield of mirrored pool, cold one, light armor -160 pts 15 saurus warriors with full command and spears -210 pts 10 skink skirmishers blowpipes -70 pts 10 skinks -50 5 COC with standard bearer and Huanchi's blessed totem -220 pts 16 TG with sstandard and musician -277 pts 3 terradons 90 pts 5 cham skinks 60 pts Total-1999 Please point out any point cost errors and fixes I should make. Recommendations are welcome and Ideas on how to use it are too
Your Scar vet is 160 instead of 157. So you have to cut 2 points off something. Looks decent i think.. You play against Magic heavy? Tomb Kings it was right? Perhaps you can drop the Scroll on the priest and give it to the Slann instead of the Cupped hands. Although redirecting a miscast ain't bad as well.. Why the 11 skinks by the way?
cause I could only fit that........but itll be 10 now cauz i gotta los 10 points I play Skaven aswell *must protect from warp lighntning and such* I like cupped hands becuz it makes it so that I don't lose my 420 point lord instantly....
You're going to get posts that will conflict with the advise that I'll lay out here in the use of either of these units. This is most likely how I'd use both of those units. Terradons: Priority list #1) Hunt down and destroy war machines #2) Drop your rocks on something for the love of god! #3) Hunt down and destroy unwanted skirmisher units or other high mobility targets #4) Support your combat units by Xfiring anything that breaks from combat (useless against TK) #5) Marchblock & throw javelins at any no armor/low armor targets that present themselves (marchblocking useless against TK) Chameleon Skink: Priority list #1) Deploy as close as possible to something you want to slow down (marchblock) or something with low armor and hail it with darts from round 1 (marchblock useless against TK) #2) Try and avoid charges while still harrassing unarmored/low armored units with darts (these guys are kind of expensive to use as a bait unit) #3) Potential Xfire of fleeing units your terradons can't help with (Xfire useless against TK again). Perhaps the skinks will do well, shooting at warmachine crews or slowing down other units of high mobility skirmishers as well, I personally don't have much experience with them. I would take the advice of a player who actually uses this unit regularly over mine due to my limited experience with Chameleons. Hope this helps.
