Hello all! I am still new to lizardmen but loving the learning experience. I've been reading the tactica's and army list you guys have been publishing and its helping me understand the whole importance of roles of units and the proper movement. So here is what i have come up with for my expansion with the army Slann Mage Priest Channel staff Ruby Ring of ruin BSB skavenpelt Becalming Cogitation Harmonic Convergence Lore of light Scar vet Cold One gamblers armour dawnstone great wep Scar vet cold one armour of destany great wep skink priest dispel scroll lvl 1 beasts 40 saurus muso standard spears 10 skirmish blowpipes 10 skirmish blowpipes 24 Temple guard Unit champ razor standard baby Stegadon sharpened horns 3 rippers 2 Salamander hunting packs 2394pts Love the idea with the Temple guard being the beast unit. I think if I can get +1 attack ASF on that unit it would be sheer rediculasness. As before its a learning list i think i have enough variety where I can learn where everything has its place yet not to spread thin where its not unplayable. As for the ruby ring I think its a great chaff nutralizer if I have 1 spare dice at the end of the magic phase often as I do since I and still horrible at calculating how many dice to toss at each spell.
Lizardmen have an excellent synergy with Lore of Light. Too bad we can't be Loremaster of it anymore I like your list though. Solid combat blocks, good flankers, Skink Skirmishers, couple of Salamanders for good flavor. I'm on the fence about your decision to take Spears on the Saurus though. A big ol' block of 40 is pretty substantial, so you'll probably do good with them. Just keep in mind that Saurus in Horde formation are very clumsy to move around since that unit is 10-inches wide.

Skaven pelt gives unit frenzy and if you so happen to face skaven which I do more often then not it gives hatred razor standard is for armour pen giving 6 extra attacks plus additional -1 armour save for my unit so 23 attacks with -3 armour from temple guard
