    Hi there,

so far I have set up a 1k list which I played a couple of times (see http://lustria-online.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9980)

    My build so far was

Scar-Vet with Burning, Enchanted Shield, light Armor - 125 p
    LVL 2 Priest with scroll - 125 p

31 Saurus Warriors with hand weapon and shields, full command - 371 p
    10 skink skirmishers - 70 p
    11 skink skirmschers - 77p

    6 Chameleon Skinks - 72 p

    Salamander with extra Snack - 80 p
    Salamander with extra Snack - 80 p

Now I was thinking if we increase the point limit to 1250 p, what to include?
Is a Slann worth it at this point limit already? or just pump up the saurus warriors, add some terradons, may be a skrox cohort?

Please share your wisdom with me ;)

    Thanks in advance!

The slann is worth its points as soon as you can use it. It will own the magic phase at lower points levels. If you can make it a BSB all the better.

Ok, I guess thats right. But than bunker the slann in the saurus and stock them up or what?

So if I would like to include a Slann, I still need to get rid of somethings or it won't fit.

Is it worth going out with a slann and leaf the priest at home?!

Seriously I have my doubts that a Slann is usable at 1250 !?!?!

slann at 1250 points comes with a 4+wsv and a free discipline, which is really strong and better than your sink priest in a long shot

Get rid of 2 Saurus and the 2nd level on the Priest...

    Slann, Higher State, BSB

Scar-Vet with Burning, Enchanted Shield, light Armor
    LVL 1 Priest with scroll

29 Saurus Warriors with hand weapon and shields, full command
    11 skink skirmishers
    11 skink skirmschers

    6 Chameleon Skinks

    Salamander with extra Snack
    Salamander with extra Snack

If you are going to bring a Slann, I would get rid of the priest entirely. You can make the Slann slightly better (scroll or plaque of tepok) by making the scar-vet the BSB.

@ david: THX! yes true, but I think I would like to keep the priest

@ Qupakoco: THX! What lore goes best with this list and points limit?

Why? He should never cast a spell with a Slann on the table.

^^ Cause they're so stinking CUTE!!! And you can't go wrong with Iceshard Blizzard.

Yeah, there are a lot of ways you could tweak this list. Put the BSB on the Scar-Vet, give the Dispel Scroll or the Plaque of Tepok to the Slann, and just run the Skink Priest naked. If you go with the Plaque you can also give either the Skink Priest or the Slann an additional 10pt item.

I'm a Light guy myself. Only one Saurus unit to buff means you can cast the cheaper version of the spells and still be able to toss out a magic missile here and there. That's what I would do.

Life would also be good for similar reasons. Relatively cheap spells and only one unit to buff. Plus Dwellers is awesome.

Double Sallies are very nice when coupled with Shadow. Having 3 characters means your Slann can jump all over the place with the lore attribute.

Death is a solid choice too. Killing characters before they can do anything useful, debuffing troops so your Saurus can chew 'em up.
