hey guys,

just a quick question, how do you all store your models in egg cartons? (well those that do anyway). 'cos I just tried it, put a jav skink in one of the dents and put another egg carton on top and the jav broke...

Hmm, I would think egg cartons would be too hard for transporting most Warhammer models. I have one of those soft foam army cases. It's nice.

Back in the day I used to just put all my models in one of the boxes that they came in. That worked pretty well. Usually the pieces would get all entangled with one another, but I think that kept them from breaking. Just don't be kicking your box around.

Perhaps this stuff in a box instead... (egg carton foam)

I use tubberware boxes with eggcarton foam, just like the pic above, to transport 95% of my minis

ahhh sounds better than my egg carton haha. switchblade, doesnt the models still move around when shaked? cos I'm gonna have to check them in when I fly next time...

Lizardmen luckily have lots of spikes and halberd that stick to the eggcarton foam (get the crappy kind, dirt cheap, has more holes, more area for models to get stuck in) which really helps. I also carry my VC in them, and those models move slightly, so i shaved (literally with a razor) some of the egg parts off to cradle the nicer pieces i wanted to give more protection to.
