8th Ed. Vampire Count, Brettonia, Warriors of Chaos Anti Strategy

    My three buddys who play WH use the following...

    Oski: Vampire Counts

    Richard: Brettonia

    Dan: WoC

    I would love to get any advice/Tactics that would be good against those! especially any dispel bonus stuff against the VP since those are the ones I will most thinkfully encounter. Thank you for any help!

    To stop VC magic bring a slann with becalming cognition.

    Against brettonia use salamanders, and maybe even a unit with that banner that give you flaming attacks. Terrify those silly horsies.

    For VC you need to lock down his magic. Fortunately Fear-causers aren't as bad as they were for our Saurus before, where you could get mobbed by Zombies. Shut down his magic and kill his General, then the army colapses.

    WoC depends more on the enemy you're facing. Be prepared for Infernal Puppet from your Slann, so Magic will be risky against Tzeentch. Nurgle's a pain to kill because of how resilient the guys are. Slaanesh is quick so you'll need to maintain the initiative against them, and not let him control the battle's flow. Khorne is like Nurgle in that it needs help from multiple units. However, all of WoC are in small numbers, so you should be out numbering them even as Lizardmen.

    No experience of Brettonia so you'll have to handle them otherwise. Lores of Fire and Metal would help with flaming attacks, and Lore of Beasts will pack a punch. Otherwise you just need to not let him get the charge.
